It's probably time for me to re-do the kermix website. Take out most of the Flash, learn PHP and some other goodies. Maybe take a lesson from epersonae... or maybe just steal borrow her code. She's got a spiffy design (as one who does such things for a living should have), and the only thing I really would need to add to it are the icons I've spoiled myself on.

The trick, I suppose, is to somehow make it my own, rather than a carbon-copy of someone else's stuff with my own words spraypainted on top of it all..

All this reminiscing is a lot easier when you know someone who actually kept their journals from the years gone by.
